We accept a limited number of engagements at a time, so that senior leadership stays on each one. We take a project where our experience changes the outcome: a site that is coastal, remote, or hard to build; a brand, an operator, or a lender that sets the standard; or an owner who builds rarely, facing a team that builds every day.

What we take on

• Hotels and resorts. Ground-up development, and the renovation, expansion, and repositioning of operating properties, for owners, operators, and their capital partners. Hospitality & Resorts.
• Multifamily and mixed-use. Rental communities and mixed-use projects with ground-floor retail, from entitlement through lease-up. Multifamily & Mixed-Use.
• Lenders and investors. Pre-acquisition due diligence, budget and contract review, and construction monitoring, wherever the asset is. Advisory and Fixed-Scope Reviews.

Why the experience travels

• Hard-to-reach sites. Our current resort work is on a private island in Belize, an out-island in The Bahamas, and a peninsula in the Dominican Republic. Planning a project around what can reach the site, and when, is the same discipline at a destination resort hours from the nearest city.
• A new jurisdiction every time. Each of those projects sits under a different government, code, and approval process. We work the same way in a new state: senior leadership on site at the points that matter, and local design, permitting, and legal professionals engaged for the owner.
• Brand and operator standards. Luxury and branded hospitality is built to a standard set by someone other than the owner. Managing that relationship on the owner's behalf is the core of our work, wherever the property is.
• A builder's judgment. Aventra is led by a Florida Certified General Contractor and former chief executive of an international construction management firm. Drawings, bids, guaranteed maximum prices, and pay applications are reviewed by people who have carried them.
