Michael Persichetti is Aventra's senior risk advisor, with more than 35 years in construction risk management. His expertise covers risk allocation in construction contracts, including indemnification, liquidated and consequential damages, insurance specifications, and bonding, along with contractor insurance and surety compliance and the resolution of losses and claims.
Michael joined Dick Corporation in Pittsburgh in 1989 and spent 37 years with the firm and its successor, DCK Worldwide, the last two decades as Vice President of Risk Management. He configured and ran the firm's risk management and surety programs for work across the United States and internationally, including hospitality, resort, luxury condominium, and health care projects throughout the Caribbean.
He began his career in safety and claims administration, covering environmental health and safety, loss control, regulatory compliance, and accident investigation.
